MVP Kids’ success is due to our volunteer support.
Working with individuals in your community can bring you immense satisfaction as you help them grow, learn, develop, and succeed. Additionally, volunteering provides you an opportunity to gain new skills, help others, and meet new friends. We hope that you recognize the tremendous benefits of volunteering and will join us in helping ensure that everyone involved has a positive experience. We appreciate your interest and look forward to potentially working with you.
By volunteering with MVP Kids you are offering your time to change a child’s life as they accomplish something they may have never been able to achieve. It provides experience with and understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorders. The main job of the volunteer is to assist the children in reaching their highest potential in the activity, while maintaining a safe and fun environment for all. For each program, volunteers will provide physical support, emotional encouragement, and keep the children focused on the task. We will provide a one-on-one buddy/volunteer to children that require one.
Please fill out the form below if you would like to join the MVP Kids team.
Other ways of volunteering:
Provide expertise in our activities and sports.
Assist with our fundraising.
Assist with recruiting other volunteers in Plattsburgh and surrounding areas.
We do require our volunteers to attend a one hour volunteer training and these are offered periodically throughout the year.
